About DMWM

DMWM, short for Duala Market Waterside Market, is a U.S.-registered Limited Liability Company founded on July 18, 2024, in Wilmington, Delaware.

At DMWM, we believe in building a world where African businesses can trade confidently — across borders, across currencies, and across limitations. Our platform was created to simplify cross-border commerce and empower vendors across Africa to reach a global audience without friction.

We provide an infrastructure that allows vendors to sell their products to customers both within the African continent and around the world. Customers can pay using local, familiar methods, while vendors receive their payouts in local currency through their preferred local payout rails — enabling seamless transactions that work for everyone involved.

To make global commerce truly borderless, DMWM integrates with a powerful international payment system. Vendors can accept payments through:

  • Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, China UnionPay
  • Wallets: Alipay, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App Pay, Link
  • Vouchers: Multibanco
  • Bank Redirects: Bancontact, EPS, iDEAL, Przelewy24
  • Buy Now, Pay Later: Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay/Clearpay
  • Bank Debits: SEPA Direct Debit, ACH, Canadian Pre-authorized Debits
  • Local Payment Methods: In countries like South Korea — where no single payment method dominates — customers can choose from popular wallets and local card issuers, including Kakao Pay, Naver Pay, and PAYCO.
  • Local Payment Methods (Africa): Benin: MTN, MOOV; Burkina Faso: Moov, Orange; Cameroon: MTN, ORANGE; Congo-Brazzaville: Airtel, MTN; DRC: AIRTEL, ORANGE, VODACOM; Gabon: Airtel; Ghana: AT, MTN, Telecel; Ivory Coast: MTN, ORANGE, Wave; Kenya: M-PESA; Lesotho: M-PESA; Malawi: AIRTEL, TNM; Mozambique: M-pesa Mozambique, Movitel; Nigeria: Airtel, MTN MoMo; Rwanda: MTN, Airtel; Senegal: YAS, ORANGE, Wave; Sierra Leone: Orange; Tanzania: YAS, AIRTEL, HALOTEL, VODACOM; Uganda: MTN, AIRTEL; Zambia: Airtel, MTN, Zamtel

Vendors not only gain access to global customers — they also get paid through fast, reliable payout options tailored to their region, including mobile money, bank transfers, and other local rails. This ensures every transaction feels familiar, accessible, and secure.

But commerce doesn’t stop at payments — it continues with delivery. That’s why DMWM partners with DHL as our default shipping provider. Our vendors can ship anywhere in the world reliably, affordably, and fast. With DMWM, your customers don’t have to choose between global access and affordable shipping — they get both.
