Apply for a vendor account

Because vendors offer products for sale on our marketplace, we — DMWM (Duala Market Waterside Market LLC) — are required to collect certain business and personal information to facilitate platform operations and ensure compliance.

Some details, such as your store name and description, are publicly displayed to help customers identify and distinguish between vendors. Your business address is used internally for calculating shipping rates and managing logistics.

We also collect personal information, including your first and last name and email address. These are essential for creating your vendor administrator account within our system. Email addresses uniquely identify each administrator and are used for logging in and managing your store. Names are collected to support accountability, especially when multiple administrators are associated with a single vendor account.

We may send essential communications to your registered email address, such as order status updates, password reset links, and administrative notices. As long as your vendor account remains active on our platform, we are required to retain your email address to maintain system functionality.

If you wish to stop using our platform and would like your personal data removed, or if you would like to request a copy of all data associated with your account, please contact us at support@dmwm.africa.

If you believe your personal data has been misused, you have the right to file a complaint with a data protection authority.
